Twenty-fifth Day of OJT (Jan 30, 2010) "Dinosaur and Incentives"

I walked with my to co-OJT's today on the way to our office. Arriving, we had a "pandesal" breakfast. After that, we're all surprise to see that our working place had changed. Our units are arrange and we had our own places now to work on, more comfortably. After some fixings, we all focus ourselves on working. When lunch break came, we're all bewildered because of the "Dish for the day". The meat of the dish looks like a "dinosaur" for me because the texture of the meat is somewhat rough like of those dinosaurs or any reptiles and its really something that is unusual to prepare for. One thing about that dish, is that, it is colored white which is different to ordinary cooked meat which is pinkish or brownish. But because we're all hungry, we don't bother ourselves thinking what meat could that possibly be even though there are so some speculations what that thing is, in our minds. Later that lunch, we found out that the meat that is being serve with us is a "Carabao" meat. That was really surprising because we thought it is a kind of bird meat. Well, guessing is over at least we all know that it was a carabao meat. Then right after our "sumptuous" lunch, we had a choco-marble ice cream(coming from our shared incentives)together with our bosses, for our dessert. After that food trip, we go back to our working places and continue our work.

Twenty-fourth Day of OJT (Jan 26, 2010) "Lesson Making"

I had finished my work yesterday so I don't have any workload for today so I asked Joy, one of my co-OJTs if I could help her in her work. Since she has a lot of work to finish, she gave me one of her workload and that is about lesson making. The topic that has to do with it, is all about "Project Development". I decided to browse the net and some books in the office to be my resources while I'm working with the lesson. I focus myself on working and I'm definitely satisfied with my work. I feel like I'm a real author of the book. Event though its kind of pressure at first, still, I enjoyed my work and that ends my whole day of office work.

Twenty-third Day of OJT (Jan 25, 2010) "Over Time"

The day started well. As usual, after taking our breakfast for that day, I, together with my co-OJTs started our usual work routine. We have a new co-worker in the office so he work with us. After some updating and scanning in our workstations, we work on the books that we have to finish for a specific deadline. Each of us, have our own task to finish. We make ourselves busy to finish all our works. We work and work and work for so many hours. We almost forgot the time but we anticipated that today would be a super overtime for us so we just continue our workloads and wait until we get home.

Twenty-2nd Day of OJT (Jan 23, 2010) "What's the Decision?!"

I arrived at the office not that early but I think it doesn't matter because my other co-OJTs are not yet starting their work. We eat our breakfast then right after, we proceed on working. I started my work by checking the work of my other co-OJT regarding some of corrections I put on that particular book. While we're working, we had an unexpected meeting with our boss. Our big boss discuss us some few significant things regarding our work as an OJT. We talked about what will be happening for the next couple of days and we are in the middle of deciding regarding some important matters about our work. Even though our final decision would mirror a positive and negative effect, it really pressures us because our decision will involved not only us, but also the time that we will be devoting for some of our workload in school. It's really kind of head ache for all us but still we must continue working today to finish all the necessary tasks. I hope God will help us in making a right decision for all this.

Twenty-firsth Day of OJT (Jan 20, 2010) "Lot of Things to do"

I'm happy that I arrived in the office without the worry of being late because I manage to wake up early today because of an unexpected cellphone call coming from a special someone. Since its early, I decided to walk going to our office. After arriving, I started working together with my other co-OJTs. Thankfully, I had my unit today which is the laptop, so my work became easier. I also helped Samie, our grammar checker to checked all the chapters of the book that is being finalized especially on the grammar side and other important editing of the contents the book. After a long hours of working, we finished the assigned task for today and made our way home.

Twentieth Day of OJT (Jan 19, 2010) "Deliberation"

Thankfully, i'm not that late today. We started the day by having a deliberation for the final drafting of the Series 7 book that we edited. I together with two of my other co-OJT's are assigned to be a part of that deliberation while our other co-OJT's are assigned to other tasks. Our bosses are all present there. We had a discussion regarding the editing of some of the contents of the book especially on the Objectives and Activity parts. After the long hours of deliberation, we settled for a quick and fast work because we only have limited time. We almost had overtime especially our layout editors. Somehow, we managed to fulfill our given tasks for today.

Nineteenth Day of OJT (Jan 16, 2010) "Sleepy yet Happy"

As I enter the village, I'm thinking if I should walk or ride a tricycle going to the office. I think I'll be late, but still I decided to walk just to be able to save money. I walk alone until I reach the office. Arriving, I learned that my unit will be use by one of the important stuff in the office because of finalizing a book. So I decided to do the "grammar checking" task that is being assigned to me the previous day. The whole day had been a grammar checking day to me. Sometimes my head aches because of reading a lot of stuffs to be check, I even feel somewhat sleepy(because I haven't have a good sleep last night) so I wash my face every now and then just to feel awake and continue my work. So far, I manage to fight the uneasiness in myself all through out and keep my work intact. I think the choco-mallow ice cream that our supervisor gives to us helps in motivating me. Long hours passed and the day was really a good one. Even though I haven't had the chance to use my laptop today because of some important reason, at least I've done my job well, actually all of us and I think a little good incentives from our hard work is better enough to be happy and complete today.

Eighteenth Day of OJT (Jan 13, 2010) "Deadline and Pressure"

Another day of OJT work. Today is the last day on working the book that we edited yesterday. We started the day by praying for the success of the editing and future publishing of the book we're working. Our boss leads the prayer and together we prayed for positive results for all our tasks today. After that we start working. We, as team, help each other so that we can finished each given tasks and to be able to move to another set of tasks. We almost forgot the time because of working very hard. This is the deadline day so no matter what happens, we really need to finish things up. Each and every one of us is dedicated to our work especially our Layout Editor Yukizan because all the drafts that we made will be finalized by him. So far, because of our passion with a little fun in working, I think we can possibly produce a good result. Hopefully, God will give us the best result after we finished this work.

Seventeenth Day of OJT (Jan 12, 2010) "Changes"

There's nothing new today. As usual, as we go to the office, we timed-in, we had our breakfast and continue our previous book editing stuffs. We are into editing a book that is to be printed this week so we really had to work hard to finished this book on the required deadline. There are so many changes to be done especially on the formatting side of the book. Even though its really kind of pressure for all of us, still we manage to focus ourselves on working. Tomorrow would be our last day of working on that book so we must make ourselves efficient as possible to cope up with the given time limit. At the end of the day, so far, we manage to produce positive output. Tomorrow would be the final drafting of all our works.

Sixteenth Day of OJT (Jan 9, 2010) "Abaca Slippers"

I'm almost 15 minutes late when I arrived at the office. I already ride a tricycle just to be able to cope up with our time. Luckily, I arrived not totally late because my co-OJTS are all in the dining table taking their breakfast so I joined them,we eat together and forgot about my being almost late. After that, we finally settled for work. As usual,we continue our book editing stuffs. We make activities for a book and cover almost three chapters. I compiled all their works and then send it to our Layout editor. While we are working one of our boss called us and we're surprised to know that the reason why she call us is because she wants us to wear abaca slippers for the purpose of lessening the cleaning tasks of our helper there. We had fun choosing what color and what size of abaca slippers we'll be wearing. I choose a purple one that feels comfortable with me. We continue our work afterwards and wait for our time to go home after a whole day of work.

Fifteenth Day of OJT (Jan 6, 2010) "Back Again"

As usual, we do the necessary things to do today but the difference is our supervisor who had a vacation last year is back now because the holiday season is over. We started the day by cleaning our workstations and prepare the things that we're going to use today. After setting up the laptops and desktops that we're going to use, we had a little discussions with our boss on our previous tasks and the later tasks that we do and then started working. Today, we focused on "Project Making" part of the book. At the end of the day we manage to finished all that projects and after some fixings and finalization we finally go home.

Fourteenth Day of OJT (Jan 5, 2010) "OJT at 2010"

Our very first OJT in the year 2010. Another year, another set of works to be finished. We started the day with our former co-OJTs who visited the office for an important reason. As we work while they are there, our energy to work is boost up because its really fun to work with the people with positive auras. When lunch break came, we eat together while having fun. After that we continue our previous task, editing, revising, rephrasing and other related works. We consume almost our time working but at the same time with a little pleasure. The day ended nice and well.

Thirteenth Day of OJT (Dec 30 2009) "The Trip and the Bar"

Well, i cant speak that much this day but i can say that there are so many things that happened to me today that is really very significant and enjoying for me. All i can say is I had a wonderful trip today with someone very important to me and that was very memorable! Happy! No regrets! Anyways, we, together with our bosses, go out and had our very first bar hopping that night. It was at the Roof Deck Bar and Grill. We had our dinner there and some little drinking with matching high toast, of course with parents consent! After that we stroll together with our bosses in their car. That was fun! Then before going home, our boss treat us in a Persian food stall named Hassan where we eat "kebab" wrap in a pita that is somewhat similar to beef shawarma. Our stomach is really that full when we finally decide to make our own ways home. It was really a night and a day to remember for me!
