Twentieth Day of OJT (Jan 19, 2010) "Deliberation"

Thankfully, i'm not that late today. We started the day by having a deliberation for the final drafting of the Series 7 book that we edited. I together with two of my other co-OJT's are assigned to be a part of that deliberation while our other co-OJT's are assigned to other tasks. Our bosses are all present there. We had a discussion regarding the editing of some of the contents of the book especially on the Objectives and Activity parts. After the long hours of deliberation, we settled for a quick and fast work because we only have limited time. We almost had overtime especially our layout editors. Somehow, we managed to fulfill our given tasks for today.

Nineteenth Day of OJT (Jan 16, 2010) "Sleepy yet Happy"

As I enter the village, I'm thinking if I should walk or ride a tricycle going to the office. I think I'll be late, but still I decided to walk just to be able to save money. I walk alone until I reach the office. Arriving, I learned that my unit will be use by one of the important stuff in the office because of finalizing a book. So I decided to do the "grammar checking" task that is being assigned to me the previous day. The whole day had been a grammar checking day to me. Sometimes my head aches because of reading a lot of stuffs to be check, I even feel somewhat sleepy(because I haven't have a good sleep last night) so I wash my face every now and then just to feel awake and continue my work. So far, I manage to fight the uneasiness in myself all through out and keep my work intact. I think the choco-mallow ice cream that our supervisor gives to us helps in motivating me. Long hours passed and the day was really a good one. Even though I haven't had the chance to use my laptop today because of some important reason, at least I've done my job well, actually all of us and I think a little good incentives from our hard work is better enough to be happy and complete today.

Eighteenth Day of OJT (Jan 13, 2010) "Deadline and Pressure"

Another day of OJT work. Today is the last day on working the book that we edited yesterday. We started the day by praying for the success of the editing and future publishing of the book we're working. Our boss leads the prayer and together we prayed for positive results for all our tasks today. After that we start working. We, as team, help each other so that we can finished each given tasks and to be able to move to another set of tasks. We almost forgot the time because of working very hard. This is the deadline day so no matter what happens, we really need to finish things up. Each and every one of us is dedicated to our work especially our Layout Editor Yukizan because all the drafts that we made will be finalized by him. So far, because of our passion with a little fun in working, I think we can possibly produce a good result. Hopefully, God will give us the best result after we finished this work.

Seventeenth Day of OJT (Jan 12, 2010) "Changes"

There's nothing new today. As usual, as we go to the office, we timed-in, we had our breakfast and continue our previous book editing stuffs. We are into editing a book that is to be printed this week so we really had to work hard to finished this book on the required deadline. There are so many changes to be done especially on the formatting side of the book. Even though its really kind of pressure for all of us, still we manage to focus ourselves on working. Tomorrow would be our last day of working on that book so we must make ourselves efficient as possible to cope up with the given time limit. At the end of the day, so far, we manage to produce positive output. Tomorrow would be the final drafting of all our works.

Sixteenth Day of OJT (Jan 9, 2010) "Abaca Slippers"

I'm almost 15 minutes late when I arrived at the office. I already ride a tricycle just to be able to cope up with our time. Luckily, I arrived not totally late because my co-OJTS are all in the dining table taking their breakfast so I joined them,we eat together and forgot about my being almost late. After that, we finally settled for work. As usual,we continue our book editing stuffs. We make activities for a book and cover almost three chapters. I compiled all their works and then send it to our Layout editor. While we are working one of our boss called us and we're surprised to know that the reason why she call us is because she wants us to wear abaca slippers for the purpose of lessening the cleaning tasks of our helper there. We had fun choosing what color and what size of abaca slippers we'll be wearing. I choose a purple one that feels comfortable with me. We continue our work afterwards and wait for our time to go home after a whole day of work.

Fifteenth Day of OJT (Jan 6, 2010) "Back Again"

As usual, we do the necessary things to do today but the difference is our supervisor who had a vacation last year is back now because the holiday season is over. We started the day by cleaning our workstations and prepare the things that we're going to use today. After setting up the laptops and desktops that we're going to use, we had a little discussions with our boss on our previous tasks and the later tasks that we do and then started working. Today, we focused on "Project Making" part of the book. At the end of the day we manage to finished all that projects and after some fixings and finalization we finally go home.

Fourteenth Day of OJT (Jan 5, 2010) "OJT at 2010"

Our very first OJT in the year 2010. Another year, another set of works to be finished. We started the day with our former co-OJTs who visited the office for an important reason. As we work while they are there, our energy to work is boost up because its really fun to work with the people with positive auras. When lunch break came, we eat together while having fun. After that we continue our previous task, editing, revising, rephrasing and other related works. We consume almost our time working but at the same time with a little pleasure. The day ended nice and well.
